📋 Product Description
Dry Type Transformer
Three Phase Cast Resin Dry Type Transformer Overview:
A Dry Type Transformer, also known as an air-cooled transformer, utilizes air or gas instead of liquid for insulation and cooling. This design does not immerse its core and windings in insulating oil, making it distinct from traditional oil-filled models.
Cast Resin Dry Type Transformer (CRT):
Uses epoxy resin to encapsulate windings, protecting them from moisture, dust, and corrosion. Ideal for high humidity areas and fire-risk zones due to its non-hygroscopic and non-inflammable nature.

Vacuum Pressure Impregnated Transformer (VPI):
Impregnates windings with class H polyester resin under vacuum, enhancing mechanical and dielectric strength. Suitable for outdoor installations and environments with significant temperature fluctuations.

Frequently Asked Questions
QWhat is the main advantage of a Cast Resin Dry Type Transformer?
CRT transformers use epoxy resin to encapsulate windings, making them highly resistant to moisture, dust, and environmental corrosion. They are non-inflammable and maintenance-free, which is ideal for indoor or fire-sensitive installations.
QWhich international standards do your transformers comply with?
Our transformers are designed and manufactured in accordance with the IEC60076-11 standard and have awarded CE, UL, and KEMA certificates.
QWhat cooling methods are used for these transformers?
We offer both AN (Air Natural) and AF (Air Forced) cooling methods. AN is used for normal operating conditions, while AF can be activated to increase the transformer's capacity for short-term overloads.
QWhat is the typical lead time for production?
Generally, the production cycle takes between 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the specific model requirements and customization needs.
QAre these transformers suitable for seismic-prone areas?
Yes, especially our Vacuum Pressure Impregnated (VPI) transformers. They feature robust construction and high mechanical strength, making them resilient against seismic events and vibrations.
QWhat winding materials are available?
Depending on customer requirements and application needs, we provide windings made of either high-quality Copper or Aluminum.
