Product Overview
This type of transformer is equipped with OLTC for regulating the voltage in an accurate range. It can be designed from 800KVA to 31500KVA with a maximum voltage of 35KV and is mainly used for power transmission and distribution systems such as power substations.
On - Load Tap Changer (OLTC) is crucial in power transformers. It precisely controls tap positions to modulate the main circuit's voltage ratio, regulating output voltage. This boosts transformer efficiency and reliability.
🔹 Tank
The oil-filled tank, made of steel, houses the core and windings. Its advantages include withstanding operational pressure and temperature changes, as the oil within acts as both coolant and insulator. Accessories like radiators dissipate heat, and the oil conservator maintains oil level.
🔹 Oil Conservator
The oil conservator compensates for oil volume changes due to temperature, reduces oil-air contact to slow oxidation, and prevents moisture ingress, thus maintaining oil insulation and extending transformer lifespan.
🔹 Transformer Core
1. Structure: Core is made of high permeability grain oriented cold-rolled silicon steel. Legs of circular cross section multi-step, yoke and core of constant section.
